2019-11-17 Living with Cancer Day 984

Today was yet another so-so day, the plan, like yesterday, was to get up earlier to have breakfast with Dieter, or at least up to say goodbye as they are leaving for Valencia (Southern California), a 6-hour drive. I did get up early and was downstairs around 8:30, enough time to talk a bit before seeing them off around 9:00. We got word that they arrived safely at home around 2:00 PM, Dieter is a speed daemon 🙂

2019-02-15 Living with Cancer – Day 711

Today was a so-so day. I continue to deal all day with the standard symptoms, sweating, dizziness and stomach aches. The good news, my UTI is under control thanks to the medication. Since my system is fighting the infection, my energy level is at a very low level and to rebuild I need to rest as much as possible and staying away from anything that may infect me with other things.

2018-07-08 Recovery Day 489

Today was a so-so day. The good news, the night was better then yesterday, I only had to get up twice. I got up around 7:30 and had my special BRAT breakfast. After resting a bit and looking after my diarrhea Dianne and I went for our morning walk. I was able to walk for about 45 minutes without any issues. For the rest of the day I stayed on the BRAT diet. The goal was to get to the point that there was no longer any diarrhea.
