2019-07-06 Living with Cancer Day 853

Today was a so-so day. Still, some fireworks during the night, but overall I had a good sleep, even with some pain across my shoulder that I got by twisting the wrong way during taking my evening shower. I got up around 6:50 to start my morning routine with no problem. As to my intense tingle in my left leg from the toe unto past my hip, was no longer notable. For my shoulder pain I took some Tylenol before staring my morning walk with Dean. For most of the day I rested which turned out to me dozing off.

Today was a BETTER day. The day started long before 9:00 PM the evening before with illegal fireworks that finally ended around 2:00 AM. In between I dozed a few times, before getting some sleep when the fireworks finally ended. Some fireworks were not what we would expect such as shooting stars, they were just noise markers, some as loud as a grenade that was heard miles away.

I got up at 6:50 to start my morning routine with no problem. As to my intense tingle in my left leg from the toe unto past my hip, it was present at a very low level, almost undetectable. BTW, I stop taking Ibuprofen since it is wrong for me to self-diagnose. Dianne reminded me that Ibuprofen is counter to the blood thinners I take. There are other medication that may interfere with. I will report the issue to my doctor and let her figure out what it may be

Today was NOT a GOOD but not a BAD either day. The day started at 3’o’clock when I woke up with intense tingle in my left leg from the toe unto past my hip. Since I could not get to sleep I issued my iPhone, the only common issue I found was that is due to possible pressure on my sciatic nerve. There are so many suggestions, the one suggestion I found was in a number of articles on different medical type websites.

Today was NOT a GOOD day. The day started off with no lower back pain and the usual shoulder pain. However, after getting downstairs my stomach acted up. I rested for 15 minutes which did not help to improve the situation. I mastered to have some toast before taken my medication. I continued resting until it was time for Dieter to drop me of at the Cancer Center for my all-day Chemo Treatment.

Today was a better day than yesterday. Again, the day started off as planned, still no issues with my new morning routine. I woke up with no lower back pain and the usual shoulder pain. After breakfast, I rested to get some relief of the pain before my morning walk with Dean. Today’s walk was better than yesterday, but still not as good as last week. We managed to walk for about 0.5 miles, a bit below last week’s 0.6 miles. Halfway through our walk one of my skies broke off my walker. Luck we did buy a second pair yesterday. Stopping by at home, Dean put on the new set and off we went to finish our walk.

Today was again NOT a good day. The day started off as planned, still no issues with my new morning routine. Today, I woke up with some lower back pain and a higher than usually shoulder pain, not high enough to take some Dilaudid. After breakfast, I rested to get some relief of the pain before my morning walk with Dean. Shortly after starting our walk, my system crashed again, similar to yesterday’s crash. After about 1/4 of the distance we walk every morning I noticed that my shoulder pain got very high with my oxygen level at 95%. To not overstress my system with continuing the walk, we turned around to go back home.

Today was NOT a good day. The day started off as planned, no issues with our new morning routine, except no morning walk on Sunday. The last few days I did not encounter any lower back pain, and my shoulder pain was at a lower level. Today, I woke up with some lower back pain and my shoulder pain was at a higher level, not high enough to take some Dilaudid.
After breakfast, I rested to get some relief for the pain. Dianne and I left around 10:15 for the theater to see Yesterday. It was a good comedy movie, if you like the Beatles’ Music, go and see the movie.

So far things were good, but walking up to the top row, which is our preferred seating location, took quite a bit of energy out of me. My energy level slowly recovered. However, halfway through the movie, my stomach acted up and my lower back and shoulder pain returned. The theater seat was not very comfortable to find a position that would help in reducing, if not eliminating, the pain.

After the movie ended it was time to walk down, that was when the trouble got worse. I was running low on energy and my oxygen was at the lower limit, I needed Dianne to help me walking down the stairs. Once outside I sat down on a chair so that Dianne could get the van closer to me. Arriving back home I laid down in my recliner with some oxygen. By dinner time my system was almost back to normal, good enough to eat, and continue to work on this article.

After dinner, we watch some TV which allowed me to finalize this posting and watch some more TV until it was time to call it a day.

Today was another good Day. Being Sunday, I slept in until 9:00. As to my dizziness, and stomach cramps they were hardly noticeable, however, the sweating part was at its highest output. The good news, the sweating did stop after half an hour. For the rest of the day, none of the three problem areas showed up. As to my energy level, it varied depending on my activity. Walking around to take some pictures took quite some energy requiring me to rest to charge my system back up.

Today was almost a good Day. It started off the way all my days start, with dizziness, stomach cramps and sweating. The differences being the levels they appear, today they were at a very high level, especially the sweating part. I waited a bit before getting ready for my morning walk. Returning home my hip muscles started to hurting again. It may still be from the weekend trip to Sonoma Garden. In summary, health-wise today was a very so-so Day.
