Today was good day. It started with me with getting up at 7:45 to be ready for my morning breakfast and regular medication before 8:00 – 8:15. After breakfast, I can’t eat anything until 9:00 – 9:15, which is the time slot to take my antibiotics. After having taken my antibiotics I am able to eat again. Being Sunday, I did not go out for a walk, I made up for this later during the day. I rested, getting the sleep apnea setup ready for later this evening.
Today was a better so-so day. It started off with getting up early at 6:30 for Dean take me Quest Laboratory at 7:45 for the trough test at 8:00. My vitals at that time were BP 114/75 P90, Temp 98.9. I was done with Quest by 8:15, and we went to Denny’s for breakfast, we got back home just before 9:00 for my antibiotics. My vitals at that time were BP 122/70 P78, Temp 99.1, by early afternoon it was back down to 98.8F.
Today was a so-so day. My day started off around 7:30 getting ready for my walk with Dean. I still have some stomach cramps and lightheadedness, which are less than yesterday. My vitals were, Blood Pressure 131/79 Pulse 57 and a temperature of 98.1F. By 4:00 PM the temperature has risen to 99.1F and stayed around for the rest of the day.
Moving around during the day was still a problem as the pain below my right hip, possible muscle pain, made it difficult to walk. The pain disperses when sitting down or resting in the recliner. As I mention yesterday, I will have to report this tomorrow to my Oncology doctor during my followup meeting.
Today was a good day! It is day two after discharge. There was no need for oxygen being inside. Using the morning walk we used Oxygen which helps to keep the level within the 92-95% range. It was very noticeable to me since my energy level did not drop too much. Activity wise I did a bit more than yesterday, however as the doctors say don’t overdo it, rest for the next few days.
Today was another so-so day! It was discharge day!
Before being discharged I needed another blood transfer. Since my blood has been subject to various chemo related treatments, it contains antibodies that the blood bank needs to be aware of in selecting the blood for me. I received the blood around 4:00 AM and was done at 7:30 AM. Shortly after that another blood draw was taken to ensure the numbers were good to be discharged.
