Today was a good day! Health-wise everything was OK starting the day. Thanks to Dianne, I had a great breakfast to start the day, making me forget a little bit of lower and shoulder pain. However, later during my morning walk with Dianne, my Arthritis Pain kicked in, more than before. Maybe it is time to take some Tylenol Arthritis Pain beforehand. As the day progressed my energy got better, and my pain levels returned slowly to normal. Overall the day was better than yesterday.
Today was a so-so day! Health-wise it started off very well, but by late afternoon it got bad, some of it my own fault. Starting my morning walk, no pain around my ankle or hip, which was true for the whole day! However, my shoulder pain/soreness and lower-back got the worst of me because of spending three hours sitting in front of my computer. I overdid it.
Today was a better day! Health-wise it was a repeat of yesterday, minus the morning dizziness. Starting my morning walk, the pain started again around my ankle, however, the level was not as high as yesterday. I continued my walk and the pain level decreased as long as I walked. However, at the end of my walk, my hips pain had increased. During the day both, ankle and hip pain showed up when I walked for a few minutes. In the afternoon I went to the local hospital for X-rays of my left ankle, as ordered by my doctor. Moving forward, Step 1, X-Rays (which I just did), if nothing is there we go to step 2, a PET/CT.
Today was another good day. No issues sleeping last night. Being a week day I got up at 6:30. For breakfast I had my normal toast with jam, banana and hot chocolate. As to my pains, I still have my hip pains in both sides, the new pain that surfaced yesterday is still there. I noticed it especially when moving the right side of my body. It has spread and now is from my right hip up to the top of my shoulder. It last a minute or two, feeling like needles and pins. I will have to report it to make sure it is a passive pain, not an active cancer triggered one.
2018-07-18 Recovery Day 499
Today was a great day. After good sleep I got up and my breakfast. Pain wise I only had the discomfort of my spine/Back surgery. Being treatment day I went outside and took a few PICTURES of the sun rays peeking through trees etc. Getting back in I took my morning medication and got ready for Dean picking me up at 8:45 to drop me of at the cancer center.
BTW, as to the source of my diarrhea, my primary oncology doctor is absolutely sure it is the Pomalyst (chemo) drug. The plan is to reduce the dosage and see if that works.
Health wise, today second day after Wednesday’s all-day treatment cycle #5, started of like yesterday with no issues, no signs of dizziness or nausea in the morning. During the day depending on the activity, my back pain increased for a bit, but resting for awhile got the level back to what I call normal.
Today was another good day:
- on the good side:
- no stomach issues,
- no bone pain,
- little ankle and leg swellings, and
- lower back pain for most of the day
- on the bad side:
- back pain level at a level of 9
- left foot pain at level 7
Another day to leave early for San Francisco. Decided to snap a few sunrise photos with the super wide-angle lens. This one is interesting since over the years I have taken sunrise photos from this location I mused mostly my 50mm or 75mm lenses. With the 15mm focal length I actually am able to catch almost 180 degree view.
No time this morning to visit Contra Loma or Big Break Regional Park as I had to leave for San Francisco very early. Luckily a great colorful sunrise presented an alternative for some great photos. The the time difference between the first photo and the second is about 5 minutes and about 10 minutes between the first and last.
My plan for this week, not only because of the rain and fog, but also for personal reason. I will not have the time to visit the different locations as I will be traveling to San Francisco every morning and returning late at night. Therefore today’s set is from the same location as yesterday, except of fog we have a heavy cloud cover.
