Let me start by apologizing for my lack of keeping the site active. I am sorry for not having found time over the last ten months. I am sure many of you thought that I have given up after all those years of writing something. To tell the truth, it was not the lack of not having topics to write about, but instead time was not on my side. This year my efforts to get my company, Illumonus, up and running took priority over everything else. I am sure you understand.

Interesting enough, I spend much of that time dealing with topics I like to blog about, especially evaluating technologies, applying standards, and last but not least during some real programming. As I said, it was not the lack of topics keeping me away.

Now that things have settled down, I made an early new years resolution, to start being active again and at least do one posting a week. My goal is to write about some of the things that I came across doing the last ten months that are still relevant and should be of interest to you.

I decided against creating daily news article links, something I tried at the end of 2009. It just fills space, nothing more. I am sure most of you subscribe to online tech news providers yourselves and don’t need yet another site to tell you what you already know.

In the past, when switching the software that runs my site, I made an effort to transfer old articles. For now I decided not to do that, mostly not because of time but because it is old news. I rather spend my resources locking forward.

So stay tuned, I am back!
