Mac News: Tweetbot for Mac Alpha Releases New Update with Several Attractive Features   
Tweetbot for Mac alpha recently received a substantial update that brings new features allowing users to have a setup similar to that of Hootsuite or Tweetdeck if they choose to. Originally spotted by The Next Web, Tweetbot for Mac now features the ability to pop out separate timeline windows and easily dock them together to create a Tweetdeck-like interface, notification improvements, and a new menu in the menu bar allowing you to manage signed-in accounts more easily and to compose a new tweet.

Knight Capital, a firm that specialises in executing trades for retail brokers, took $440m in cash losses Wednesday due to a faulty test of new trading software. This morning reports were calling it a trading “glitch”, which isn’t nearly as accurate as the term I’d use: “f**king disaster”.
