Apple News: Apple rolling out iPad mini in ‘stealth mode,’ says analyst
Apple has been rolling out its new iPad Mini with retina display in “stealth mode,” steadily making it available in stores ahead of the day after Thanksgiving sale, an analyst said Friday. Cantor Fitzgerald’s Brian White called the iPad mini rollout “one of Apple’s ‘stealthiest’ device launches and driven by supply constraints.” White told clients in a note that the checks in New York City showed the device now “available for walk-in customers” at some stores.

When FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler confirmed the agency’s proposal to lift the ban on in-flight voice calls, he also issued a statement that sounded like he favored the change. According to AP, that didn’t sit well with a bunch of folks , and the FCC’s phones rang off the hook with complaints – one representative even called him a “wireless lobbyist.”
