Black Diamond Mines Regional Park

Last week for Day 6 the plan was to visit Black Diamond Mines, but because of the heavy rain, the access road was flooded and there were also some mudslides, effectively closing the park. No such issues today as we have some great sunshine just asking to visit the park, which is one of the best in the Bay area.

All four photos are about capturing the Rose Hill Cemetery seen in the distance from the Nortonville Trail. The distance between the first and last photo is about 1/3 of a mile.

All photos were taken with my Sony SLT α77 and Minolta AF 24mm F/2.8 lens, using Aperture mode, with a setting of f/13 (#1) and f/18 (#2 – #4), White Balance set to sunny, ISO to 200 and 3-shot bracketing with +/- 0.5 EV. I also used a CPL filter. No post-process adjustments were made to the photos.
