Finally – DarkTable 2.2.0 released!

In case you missed it, the developer team has released a new main version of the DarkTable RAW converter, which is especially popular with Linux and Mac users. DarkTable is a virtual light and dark room for managing digital negatives (RAW files). The development of the image files is done by means of so-called sidecar files, allowing the pictures to be edited in a non-destructive manner.

Why DarkTable?

At the start of this year I posted my article about Switching to Linux from MocOS (OS X). This was sparked by my New Years Resolution to escape from all the proprietary, controlled environments, services, tools and software that I have depended to used for over a decade of computing using a Mac and OS X.
