2018-04-11 Recovery Day 401

Today was another good day. Like yesterday the day started with no stomach issues, but instead was rather dizzy. Taking my dizziness medication fixed that problem before I had to leave for my treatment at the local cancer center. After a short rest and taking my regular morning medication, Dean dropped me of at the local cancer center. Today is my all-day treatment day. Therefore there is not much to report.

My blood was drawn and my vitals were checked. My blood table and vitals look good to go ahead with my treatment. Starting with premeds infusion followed by the main infusion of the biological Daratumumab (trade name Darzalex) which will take about 5.5 hours.

I had planned to use that time to do many things, but it turned out that thanks for taking Ativan with my morning medication I slept for most of the time. The reason for adding Ativan was to see if it helps with suppressed my spams I have encountered in the past. Since I slept through it all.

Returning home I went for a small walk. By the time I got back it was time for dinner and watching some TV afterwards before retiring for the night. Since we are back on the treatment cycle, the 7 days rest are over, I will be taken, before going to sleep, the chemo drug Pamalyst.

That is it for today, in summary, today was another good day.
