2018-05-09 Recovery Day 429

Health-wise every is normal, except for the dizziness. Today is full infusion day at the local Cancer Care Center started at 9:00. Until then I check my vitals and took my medication. I check my backpack to make sure I had all my internet stuff to help me through the 8 hours, before resting for a few minutes.

At 8:40 Dean picked me up to drop me off at the treatment center. The rest of the day was identical to all the other infusing days in the past. My CBC numbers were good. We will have to wait for the Myeloma numbers until Friday as they take a bit longer to be process by an external lab.

As to my MRI and PET report for tests last and this week, they are both looking good. As to the pain I have in my joints (ankles, knee, hip and shoulder/arm), they are supposedly from Arthritis. We will attack that at a later time in the future.

I had some Hawaiian Pizza left from lunch by a pharmaceutical sales person. BTW, this happens every Wednesday. The rest of the afternoon I was sitting in the treatment chair (recliner) to receive the rest of the IV dosage. Every hour or so I got up for a small walk and a visit to the toilet. Remember what goes in must come out. My treatment was over by 16:30 (4:30 PM).

After getting back home I rested outside in our backyard for a bit until everyone was home for dinner, which was be left over pizza with a salad. After dinner we watched some TV before calling it a day. That is it for today, in summary, today was a good day.
